We had an amazing time Bowling with the Say Yes Alumni Network at SPARE Lanes on Friday evening! From laughter to strikes and even a few gutter balls, the night was full of fun, connection, and community. Thank you to everyone who came out — we love seeing our alumni show up and show out. We are excited to participate in this year's Give 716. Fundraising will begin at 7:16 p.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, July 15 and will run through 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16.

The goal of Give 716 is simple: to unite Sabres and Bills fans with the Western New York Community in an epic day of giving! Nonprofits deliver for our community every day, so let's come together as one team, for one day, and become a symbol of generosity not only for our local community, but for the world. Give 716 will bring together individuals, groups and businesses in support of any nonprofit headquartered or providing services in one of eight counties to include Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Genesee, Wyoming, Allegany, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua.

That’s a wrap on this year’s Say Yes Buffalo College Kickoff — and what an incredible day it was!

From inspiring speakers to interactive workshops, our new college-bound students showed up ready to soak up knowledge, make connections, and celebrate the next chapter of their journeys.

The day was filled with powerful panels on navigating campus life, financial aid, and career planning. There were lively conversations about Greek life and building community on campus. Students got access to resources and tools to help them stay on track and thrive, and there was plenty of networking, laughter, and new friendships formed.

We’re so proud of every student who’s saying yes to their future. Remember, your Say Yes Buffalo family is here for you every step of the way. Let’s keep the momentum going — college, here you come! 🚀

This past Saturday, the Say Yes Alumni Network Committee hosted our very first retreat at — and let’s just say, we took team building to a whole new level!

Huge thanks to Wegmans for providing a delicious breakfast and Chipotle for the amazing lunch spread that kept us fueled all day.

Special shoutout to JoAnna Rozier-Johnson of JoRo Organizing for leading a dynamic team-building workshop! From getting active to sharpening our listening skills, we learned so much about each other’s strengths and how to collaborate more effectively moving forward.

We had a blast planning for the year ahead and can’t wait to share what’s in store. Stay tuned for upcoming events from the Say Yes Alumni Network!
