7 Elk Street in Albany, New York has gone through just a few changes since its original construction in the 1830s.
Originally owned/ built by William P. Van Rensselaer, and designed in an early Federal style was eventually converted from a single-family home into private offices. Soon, it will be converted to 13 rentable units. It has become one of the latest examples of residential-to-office-to-residential conversions in the Albany area.
