South African Emporium, (Previously known as Cape Food and Beverage) and also known as The South African Shop, Atlanta, imports and supplies South African products to the USA market. Since the company was established in 1998, the company has grown from strength to strength offering online shopping through our website, direct sales to the public through our store as well as wholesale to retailers a

cross the USA. The original idea to supply the South Africans in the USA with their favourite products from home, started with Nico Odendaal, President of Cape Food & Beverage. As a frequent traveller and International Captain for South African Airlines, to the USA, Nico realized the need for a home away from home. What more can you ask for than your favourite box of Ouma Rusks and "5 Roses" tea or Iwisa (pap) and locally made Boerewors! Adding Biltong and Droëwors with our secret South African spices, which we also ship across to the USA - and you're as good as home! We are also selling our own developed Peri Peri sauces under the Zulu Zulu label. Although we have a huge range of products, we constantly research new products. We listen to the requests of our customers and will go to great lengths to supply a product which there is a need for and can be legally imported. Change, which is the only security we have, also knocked on our door, after 22 years! From Roswell to Peachtree Industrial, What wonderful years we journeyed together! We overcame a recession, betrayal and also the sting of the Corona Bee! The newly formed
South African Emporium,
will now shine from Satellite Blvd in Buford, close to the great Mall of Georgia! The South African Emporium will expand on the Product line - Expect some exciting products alongside the known lines. On Thursday the 4th of December 2025, Daddy and I went to Reagan Clinic to get his x-rays done. Look at these beautiful Pictures in the foyer of Reagan Medical.
Quietly and so unexpectedly, On Friday morning, Daddy crossed over to his Red Carpet reception in Heaven.

We were determined to do one hundred years.....but Daddy your Name was called now. Our hearts are shatterred. I dont know how life will be without your incredible Biblical knowledge, understanding and revelational conceptualizing of Biblical matters that were so profoundly deep and rooted in the original blue print of yesterday, today and forever. I just can't fathom the days and years ahead. I do know you are without limitations now. You see the streets of gold you always preached about but most of all, you see Him whom you loved the most.

Your journey has just begun. We will never be able to gather the pieces 💔 but we are assured to re-unite again soon when we all gather in heaven.

Be still my soul, a General crossed over.

Ouma Riet and we as a family are united in our mourning and will announce arrangements for a final tribute in the coming days.

For now.....we are grateful for the 91 years we had. Rest in Him whom you loved the most Daddy. You were loved till the end and into forever.

We have made a decision to restructure. We are currently between options and will no longer have the "walk in" store for the immediate. We will be closing the Walk In Store, as from tomorrow the 29th of July 2024.

We will for the short foreseeable future have online shopping available - please keep an eye on our website. (Southafricans.com)
