MLAGS making families and friends happy nearly every day now that summer vacation season has arrived. Associate Guide Trevor Lanham took James, Thomas, John, Wiley, Charlie and FiFi out Monday morning. They had six keeper stripers and a bunch of pocket rockets, largemouths and our summertime friends, the channel cats. Pretty good time to be on the water with MLAGS.

What do you do the day before your son is to get married? You fish, of course! Lake was 74 degrees with temperature rising and level dropping. Plenty of shallow water activity with the mayflies hatching and shad schooled. Great time of year to try at F**T Lures Javelin on a Ned rig.

MLAGS Associate Guide Trevor Lanham took Jerry, Jerry, Tony and (Catfish) Bob out this morning and had a great trip with largemouth up to 5.5 lbs. and they kept four stripers for the dinner table. (Catfish) Bob had the record today with at least a dozen catfish. The guys went through almost 200 pieces of bait with a nice mix of stripers, wipers, largemouth and catfish. Trevor guides from a comfortable, new pontoon.
