This is not the usual trail at Whiting Woods. This goes off to the left and ended up being a lot of rock climbing. If you're not in condition for this don't try it. Not that it's all that dangerous but if you are used to doing regular trails you will find this exhausting. We kept expecting that this would run into one of the regular, fire road type trails. After about a mile and a half we gave up and headed back down, often using the ropes that are conveniently in place. I had lots of leg and even foot cramps at home a few hours later!
