I am a retired Army National Guard Colonel who served for 29 years, half of that time on Active Duty. I specialized in environmental, energy conservation, sustainability, facilities and logistics issues.
When I retired, I joined Customs and Border Protection as the Director of Energy and Environmental Programs Office at Customs and Border Protection with an emphasis on electrifying the motor vehicles fleet before I retired from federal service to become a travel agent.
I love traveling both within and outside of the United States. I love visiting the National Parks including the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Mesa Verde, Zion, Bryce Canyon, as well as the ones lesser traveled Cedar Breaks National Park, Mammoth Cave, Carlsbad Caverns and urban National Parks; Independence Hall, Harpers Ferry and the San Juan National Historic Site. Their beauty is simply breathtaking and will be etched in your mind forever. I also love to visit big cities like New York, Philadelphia, Seattle, San Francisco and Atlanta as well as smaller ones like Ashville, NC, Lexington KY, Santa Fe NM, Montgomery AL and Pittsburgh, PA.
Internationally, I have been to Japan, South Africa, Eswatini, Peru, Jamaica, and Aruba with my favorite trip to date several weeks in France. There is so much to see from the small city of Avignon to Lyon to Paris via a river cruise and train.
