We stopped in Pueblo, Colorado to visit the Rosemount Museum. A thirty seven room mansion with woodwork that was out of this world beautiful. This mansion was once occupied by the Thatcher family and it turns out that it isn’t in fact haunted! Yet!
This tour was a highlight in my opinion!
On the road again…next stop, home!

Headed to Canon City to experience The Royal Gorge today! A time was had! My favorite part was walking the bridge. Our last night in Colorado and we are sad it went by so fast. We are blessed at First Travel to have such wonderful friends to travel with. They make every adventure special.

Manitou Springs - known for their mineral springs & mountain landscapes, dominated by a up close view of the soaring Pikes Peak! Dotted along the main streets of this quaint little resort town were candy shops, amazing burger joints, and of course little boutiques. Before Jenna (our official step on guide) hopped on, I received a generous tip from Teddy as I embarked on my first time as a step on guide for Manitou Springs. LOL, I do what I gotta do to keep ‘em laughing!
We even got to have a celebration for Dolores turning 86 today!
We had a great time exploring Colorado Springs & Manitou Springs the last couple of days. First Travel always has the BEST GROUPS! Tomorrow we adventure out to the Royal Gorge!
