Strategic Defense Systems was founded by tenured Law Enforcement professionals. The founders and instructors currently work in the Law Enforcement field and have served in many capacities, adding to their defensive training and experience. Strategic Defense System's Chief Instructor has served more than 17 years in Law Enforcement, spending more than 10 years in the Special Operations Divisions; i
ncluding 6 years as a Tactical Team Operator and 10 years assigned to the Metro Fugitive Squad. He holds a TXDPS instructor license as well as NRA rifle, pistol and shotgun instructor certifications. He is also certified as a Range Safety Officer and Chief Range Safety Officer. Strategic Defense System's instructors also include a highly experienced female Law Enforcement Officer with more than a decade of Street experience and firearms training. She holds several Texas Commission on Law Enforcement instructor certifications. She specializes in victimization mitigation, personal security planning and vehicle operations. She also has extensive training and experience in dating and family violence as well as dealing with persons suffering from mental disorders. An associate instructor is also available, and has extensive working experience as a Personal Protection Officer, Private Security Contractor and licensed Texas DPS Private Security instructor. He has more than a decade of covert, Low Profile operations and investigative experience. Strategic Defense Systems will only utilize professionals who have extensive experience using a firearm as an everyday tool to instruct and/or advise our clients on anything.
