We are hoping to organize a group interested in protecting and preserving the history and the beauty of the Burlington Cemetery. This group, Friends of the Burlington Cemetery, would be asked to provide help with special projects involving the cemetery, like the fall cemetery tours and any other projects that the group might want to initiate, in coordination with the Board of Directors. If you have an interest in preserving this part of Burlington’s past, please DM me. Once we have enough interest, we will schedule an organizational meeting. We would love to hear from you!

We had a perfect day for our first historical tour at the Burlington Cemetery! Many thanks to all of our guests, our actors and many volunteers! We appreciate the donations from some of our local businesses. The Broad Street Boys Barbershop Quartet capped off the event with songs from the war eras. See you all next year!

Tomorrow (Sunday) is the big day! After many months of planning and hours of meetings and discussions, it is Showtime! We hope you will come and see some of Burlington’s past come to life. We are so excited! Dress rehearsal was yesterday and it was great! Our re-enactors are polishing up their performances, the barbershop quartet sounds fantastic and the sound of black powder muskets will be part of the event! We hope you will come!
