Great Colorado Time Capsule is visiting Burlington!

The time capsule will remain sealed until 2076 in celebration of America’s 300 and Colorado 200! The goal is to create one shared historical snapshot of thousands of personal stories and artifacts representing life across Colorado in 2026.

Be part of Colorado's community time capsule at the Larimer County Fair & PRCA Rodeo, on display July 31–August 4. Submit a photo, story, letter to the future, keepsake, artwork, or another item that captures life in Colorado today. Your contribution will help preserve this moment for future generations.

A Blizzard Warning and Winter Weather Advisory continues through Monday night. Northwest winds gusting up to 55 mph at times will result in blizzard to near blizzard conditions across the area. Additional snow amounts of 1 to 5 inches are expected, highest in the Blizzard Warning area.
