Nice to help Ian grab another podium!

THURSDAY NIGHT OPEN BUDDY EVENT - RESULTS

The sixth BDVB Thursday Night Buddy Event of 2026 returned last night to Stone Tavern Lake under partly cloudy, hot and humid conditions. And once again, Stone Tavern proved atypically stingy as the unusually small field found catching numbers of fish difficult.

The winning team still managed a solid bag. The son/father team of Ian Martin and John Martin coasted to the victory by over 2.5 pounds with a five-fish limit weighing 11.99 pounds.

Second place went to the team of John Kinelski and Liam O'Gara. That team also had five fish, weighing 9.42 pounds, anchored by their lunker winning 3.75-pound largemouth.

Third place went to the brother team of Jason McDonald and Josh McConnell with five fish weighing 7.95 pounds.

The overall results are attached.

Next week's event is on Lake Assunpink. It should be a good one!

A couple of productive trips to the Assunpink lakes over the last week. Rocco with a solid 3 # on a top water at Stone Tavern then Shelly hauled in good numbers at Rising Sun to close out the week.
