Great program!

The Butte Aging at Home Program started earlier this year and provided funding and free labor for those who qualified to make modifications to homes that make it easier for senior citizens to get around.

Now some are pushing to expand the program throughout Montana

Know where the work is happening and schedule your trip appropriately.

⚠️Anaconda & Deer Lodge – MDT and Montana Lines Inc. are resuming work on the Anaconda and Deer Lodge Signal Upgrades project the week of June 22, weather and other unforeseen factors permitting. Crews will begin work in Deer Lodge on Main Street this week. During construction, on-street parking will be temporarily disrupted. All vehicles parked on the streets within the work zone will need to be moved prior to chip sealing work. Motorists can expect reduced speed limits and temporary lane closures, with flaggers or temporary signals directing traffic.

The Montana Folk Festival will be held in Butte, Montana on July 10th through the 12th. Over 250 musicians, dancers, and entertainers. Food vendors too.

Schedules can be picked up at the Chamber of Commerce.
