🚨🚢 NEW: Disney Cruise Line Is Returning to New York City in Fall 2027!

Disney Cruise Line is officially heading back to New York City, and this time the Disney Wish is coming with it! This will mark the first time the Disney Wish has ever sailed from New York.

This is a special announcement for me, as I’m so excited that they’ll be closer to my home base in New England!!!

Beginning September 29, 2027, the Disney Wish will offer a lineup of seven sailings ranging from 4 to 7 nights, visiting destinations across Bermuda, Canada and yes, certain ports in New England!!!

The season includes a 4-night Bermuda cruise, 5-night Canada and New England sailing, a 6-night Bermuda and Canada cruise, multiple 5-night Bermuda cruises and a 7-night Canada cruise visiting Charlottetown, Sydney and Halifax.

And there’s one more unique itinerary! 👀

The Disney Wish will finish its New York season with a 5-night one-way cruise from NYC to San Juan, Puerto Rico, departing October 31 and visiting Bermuda twice before arriving in San Juan on November 5.

🚨🧳 NEW: Disney Expands Airport Luggage Transfer to Another Walt Disney World Resort!

Getting to and from Walt Disney World just got a little easier!

As of August 18, Disney’s Airport Luggage Transfer service has expanded to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort for eligible guests flying domestically through Orlando International Airport (MCO).

The service allows eligible guests to have their checked luggage transferred between MCO and their Disney Resorts Collection hotel, meaning less time worrying about bags during your arrival and departure.

Participating resorts now include:

🧳 Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
🧳 Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
🧳 Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
🧳 Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
🧳 Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
🧳 Disney’s Pop Century Resort

Eligible airlines currently include Southwest Airlines, American Airlines and United Airlines. Departing guests at participating resorts can drop their checked bags at the Airport Luggage Transfer desk at the porte cochere for direct delivery to their flight at MCO.

Here’s a look at some of the biggest announcements from tonight’s Disney Experiences Showcase:

🚗 Piston Peak is coming to Magic Kingdom! The new Cars-inspired expansion will bring guests into a larger-than-life world inspired by Pixar Animation Studios’ Cars, complete with new attractions and immersive storytelling.

🦹‍♀️ Villains Land just got even more wicked! New details were shared about this massive expansion, which will feature two major attractions, dining, shopping and immersive environments inspired by some of Disney’s most iconic villains. The land will be comparable in scale and immersion to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

🌎 Exciting updates were revealed for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Including new details about the upcoming Encanto attraction, Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent, and plans to bring the legendary Expedition Everest Yeti back to life.

👾 Monstropolis continues to take shape Fans got a new look at the highly anticipated Monsters, Inc.-inspired expansion with the land including Harryhausen’s restaurant and the “Welcome to Monstropolis” show opening in 2027! The door coaster attraction will open in a second phase at a later date.

🌬️🚢 POV: You're trying to film a cute cruise reel... but Mother Nature has other plans. 😂

I'm pretty sure one more gust of wind and I'd have been sailing home without the ship! 🤣💨 (Don't worry... Disney wasn't letting that happen!)

All jokes aside, one thing that really stood out to me on my first Disney Cruise was just how seriously they take safety. I'll admit, before my first cruise I was always a little nervous about being out on the open ocean. But after experiencing Disney Cruise Line firsthand, those worries quickly disappeared.

The bridge crew is constantly monitoring weather conditions, the Crew Members are exceptionally well trained, safety procedures are second nature, and communication is excellent whenever conditions change. I never once felt anything but safe onboard.

And can we talk about how spotless everything is? Crew Members are constantly cleaning and sanitizing every corner of the ship, and it really shows. Disney's attention to detail goes far beyond the magic—it extends to your comfort, health, and peace of mind, too.

Now excuse me while I go try to tame my windblown hair... 😂💁‍♀️
