Here it is! TWO LANES of traffic on NC12 at the Pea Island Visitor Center. Again, continue to drive with caution through the area, as there is still water on the road in places and the road shoulders are soft. Thanks for your patience as we made the switchover this evening.

🚢 EMERGENCY FERRY SERVICE NOW UNDERWAY — Hatteras Island to Mainland

Emergency ferry service between Stumpy Point and Rodanthe began at 11 a.m. Sunday. Here's everything you need to know:

🔴 WHO CAN RIDE TO RODANTHE: Only permanent Hatteras Island residents, essential personnel and critical business vendors. Visitors are NOT allowed. Law enforcement will be on site.

🟢 WHO CAN RIDE TO STUMPY POINT: First-come, first-served. Priority given to vendors returning from deliveries.

⏱️ TRIP TIME: Approximately two hours one way.

📅 SUNDAY SCHEDULE:
Rodanthe to Stumpy Point: 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 5 p.m., 8 p.m., 11 p.m.
Stumpy Point to Rodanthe: 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m., 5 p.m., 8 p.m., 11 p.m.

📅 STARTING MONDAY:
Rodanthe to Stumpy Point: 2 a.m., 5 a.m., 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 5 p.m., 8 p.m., 11 p.m.

Apparently there’s a ground beef shortage on the island! Luckily, we have of 1lb packs of grass fed, grain finished ground beef in the freezer! It’s delicious!

We also have plenty of fresh fish, as well as shrimp and scallops! Come see us!
