June 2026 Business of the Month – Brent Reeves Trucking Inc
The Byrdstown-Pickett County Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate Brent Reeves Trucking on being chosen as the June Business of the Month!
We asked the owner, Brent Reeves, what he would like to share with everyone, and this is what he said:
Brent Reeves started at a young age alongside his father, mother, and grandfather at the family business known as Albany Redi-Mix which was a concrete redi-mix plant. Brent began his trucking career hauling concrete materials that supplied the plant. Later, Brent branched out and got additional work outside the concrete plant. He then added more trucks and drivers to accommodate his customers’ increasing needs. In 2022 Brent, his father and mother, David and Delora Reeves sold the concrete plant. Brent then renamed the company to Brent Reeves Trucking Inc.
The business has 9 employees, including 6 full-time drivers. Without his hard-working and dedicated employees this could not have thrived to what it is today. Family remains central to Brent’s life and business. He and his wife Cortney Reeves have 4 children—Aubree, Abel, Camille, and Marley. Brent’s parents, David and Delora Reeves, are still involved with the business. David is a full-time driver, and Delora helps part-time as bookkeeping. Brent also brought his Uncle Mike Reeves on board as office manager. Brent emphasized how much his family and the community mean to him saying, “Thanks for the support-you make this possible”.
Brent Reeves Trucking specializes in hauling concrete materials such as dry bulk cement, flyash, etc., rock, sand as well as agricultural products like fertizer, grain and feed.
