Thunder Mountain Cabin is the secluded cabin-in-the-woods experience you've been looking for. The cabin sits at the end of a road and boasts beautiful views of the river and valley below. Others come for the river activities. Kayaks and paddle boats are available. We hope the cabin will be a place where you will want to return year after year to make your own memories. It is available for groups of 6 or less. Lower rates for couples and solo guests available. Special rates apply during holidays.

November 3-6 is available at Thunder Mountain due to a cancellation! Peak colors are occurring over the next week or so, so this is your perfect chance to visit Thunder Mountain in the fall. We are only renting to couples right now, but the rates will be heavily discounted due to this being a last-minute stay. Message us soon before this opening is gone!

For those looking for a less-remote alternative to our "Thunder Mountain Cabin"... "The River Shack" is for you! This 2-acre property sits right on the Caddo River but is in a more secluded spot than most cabins along this busy river. Many guests will enjoy the river all to themselves, especially during the week and during off-season stays. Other guests might get to watch a torrent of kayakers and tubers float past during busier seasons and weekends. Discounts are available for last minute bookings when they are available! The shack is small so is only available to solo-travelers or couples. airbnb.com/h/caddoshack

Update: Just to clarify, The Shack is a separate 2-acre property a few miles away from Thunder Mountain Cabin. Thunder Mountain Cabin is still the only cabin on that 80 acre property. Both are great for couples!

Looking for a last-minute trip for Christmas? A guest just canceled their Christmas vacation leaving a vacancy starting today. Come experience winter on the mountain! We have been very impressed with Claire's Cleaning Service and use them at two cabins! They show up on time, communicate extremely well, are always polite, and do an amazing job! Their attention to details is phenomenal, leaving no crevice behind. They often help us out with extra requests like winterizing cabins, yardwork, and other chores. Highly recommended!!
