🎥 In this short clip, Ustadh explains how to perform Salat al-Janazah, a prayer that many Muslims may attend throughout their lives but never fully learn.

The Prophet ﷺ taught us that whoever attends the Janazah prayer will receive one Qirat of reward, and whoever remains until the burial will receive two Qirats, each one being like the size of Mount Uhud.

During our Ziyarah, we also visit a date farm where our guests can experience one of the most famous products of Madinah.

Here they can taste different types of dates, learn about them, and choose the ones they like the most to take home for their families.

✅ Things to Avoid at the Prophet’s Mosque

When visiting the Prophet's Mosque, your intention should be to visit the Prophet's Mosque, not to visit the tomb of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), because traveling to a place for the purpose of worship does not include visiting graves.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
"Do not set out on a journey except for three Mosques i.e. Al-Masjid-AI-Haram, the Mosque of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), and the Mosque of Al-Aqsa, (Mosque of Jerusalem)."
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1189: Muslim, 1397.

Don't pray or seek help from the Prophet (ﷺ), and other words which imply SHIRK and which are the opposite of Tawheed, which is the right of Allah over His slave.

Standing before the grave in a posture of prayer, placing the right hand on top of the leftover one's chest or below it. This is a haraam action because this is a posture of humility and worship, which we are only permitted to do for Allah.

Bowing or prostrating at the grave, which is actions we are only permitted to do for Allah.

Praying to Allah at the grave, or believing that du’aa’ offered at the grave will be answered.

Sending salams to the Prophet (ﷺ) on behalf of others. This action is Haram.

It was narrated that Abdullah said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
'Allah (SWT) has angels who travel around on Earth conveying to me the Salams of my Ummah.'"
Sunan an-Nasa'i 1282
Grade: Sahih

Repeatedly visiting his grave and going there a great deal, such as visiting after every obligatory prayer, or every day after a specific prayer.

Turning to face the grave from all sides of the mosque, or turning to face it whenever one enters the mosque or finishes a prayer, and putting one's hands on one's sides and inclining the head when sending salaams upon him, All of these are widespread and well-known innovations (bid’ah) which go against sharee’ah.
