Hi, it is that time again to ask for shift coverage, but we are soooo close! Let's keep it going!

The Gateway needs your help this holiday weekend to enrich our Island visitors' art experience, promote CAA, and spread the Studio Tour word!

We have 30+ volunteers and just two shifts open for the weekend Sat 2-4 and Sun 2-4!

More opportunities to help out are open the weekend starting 11 September.

Take a 2 hour shift, bring a friend to join you, play some music, bring a sketch pad or little project to work on, have fun!

The 'Backroads' show is extended through September 20th at the Camano Gateway Gallery ! Please visit the Gateway Gallery in the little red building at Freedom Park - Freedom Park Association to 'View | Gift | Collect' our local artists' art and fine crafts. There are large and small artworks including paintings, photography, jewelry, ceramics and more! The Gallery is open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through August 20th. See you there!

Hidden Art Tokens in Freedom Park today between 10 and 2!
Look for 4-5” ceramic tokens, turn them in at the Gateway Gallery for a piece of locally made art or craft.

Local ceramic artist Erika Posey put together this terrific take on Glassquest. Make sure to view her and other CAA members fine art and craft inside the gallery. A new show is up, ‘Backroads’.

After the Student Show and Camano Island Studio Tour, volunteers from the Camano Arts Association took a much needed long break. But we are ready to roll once again!

This Friday a new group exhibit, ‘Backroads’, opens. Join us for a reception on
SATURDAY JUNE 20 from 4 to 6

What is special about the Gateway Gallery? Any CAA member is allowed to hang work in our shows, regardless of experience level. This is a place for members to encourage each other and to provide the public a welcoming space in which to appreciate art. Having shared experiences like this strengthens our community.

CAA hopes you’ll come for a visit!

A big thanks to the Freedom Park Association for so thoughtfully including the Gateway Gallery on the park's new website!

Check out all the art in the park and in the gallery. We have a new show opening on June 19th with an artist's reception on June 20th from 4-6pm.

Explore the sculptures and artwork at Freedom Park on Camano Island — a collection of works by local and regional artists set within the park grounds.

Our little gallery was nominated for Best Of Stanwood-Camano. We'd be so pleased if you'll cast a vote for our non-profit, volunteer staffed gallery which includes art from its members at all skill and experience levels, and is in its second year of encouraging our local teens by showing off for the entire month of May the art they've made at Stanwood High School.
Thank you for your vote by end of day 5/29. It means a lot to the people who've made the effort these last three years to bring the gallery to life.
