Hey Gang, this weekends Guests wanted to stay on the coast and take look at last weekends zone, while not as wide open as last weekend it was still pretty good once we got them figured out. We ended the day with just short of 60 bass and 25 other misc critters for my two Guests,they ate the Hammers, rip baits and even a couple on the surface iron! Cappy

Hey Gang we opted to fish the coast today and found the calico’s eager to to bite today, the ate various swimbait’s first thing then the rip bait got real good for the rest of the day! We found wolf packs of hungry calico’s crashing on bait and ended the day with 110 calico’s on the clicker and a bunch of other misc stuff including a baby mako shark that bit the rip bait! Cappy

Hey Gang, fished Anacapa with my two guests today and had bottom fishing bonanza with both guys taking home their 20 fish limit’s big sheepshead, reds, white fish, lings etc! The current and wind were a posing each other so we just sat in the same spot killing them for several hours without having to reposition the boat 😀Cappy

Hey Gang did a coastal/Islands trip today for my two guests, started out front at the not so secret spot for a fun pick on some quality bass with all the bass in the 4-5lb range, when that dried we continued the fun over on the backside of Santa Cruz adding many bas to our total for the day. Cappy

Hey Gang, we found ourselves with pretty much the same situation as last weekend weather wise with deteriorating conditions in the the Channel but a decent forecast for most of the day on the coast, so started where we left off last weekend and were rewarded with a fantastic bass bite in the morning, we had caught and released 60 bass by 10am for my 3 guests and finished the day with over seventy on the clicker as well as a bunch of misc stuff. Everything was caught on soft plastic lures with 4-51/2 inch clear red flake Big Hammers doing the usual damage. Cappy

Hey Gang ran down to Northern Malibu today with my three guests, found willing bass on the deeper stones right away, as that started fizzle out we ran in shallow to see if there was any kind of rip bait bite going on (there wasn’t) so back out to the deep stuff. Turns out our original zone went completely quiet, but after making a couple adjustments we got into pretty good with lots of doubles and triples and even a quadruple! Lots of fun and I was able to submit one for the Star tournament 😀 most of the bass were caught on 4-7in Big Hammers with several caught the end of the day on the iron! Cappy
