Giant i garage sale this thurs through Saturday from 9-4 inside the Event Center. We set it up like a store with various departments such as furniture, rugs and lighting, kitchen pots, dishes , and glassware, home decorations, bedding, mens clothing (34x34), womens clothing, jewelry scarves and belts, lawn and garden to include a glass top deck table, hunting and camping gear, and a huge selection of leather horse tack (12 saddles). All items priced to sell!

Guess what plant leaves we have been foraging. Here are the clues: 1. Plant can grow 5-6 ft tall. 2. The leaves are big and fuzzy. 3. When dried and powdered, and added to the horses grain, it helps with respiratory issues.

Look closely and you will see the 3 pigs that came to visit today inside the goat pen. The goats, Lewis and Clark, took one look at them and fled to the far corner of the pasture. The horses all stood in a row seemingly wondering “what is that animal”? The chickens and ducks promptly ignored them. Never a dull moment on the mountain!!

Thank you to everyone who donated to Erie Gives yesterday to help us care for our horses. I wanted you to see your dollars in action. Twice per year, Dr. Rachel Davis comes here to do a dental check as well as deal with physical issues. Today Cheyenne and Shadow had chiropractic and laser treatments on their back hip joints. Sprout and Fancy had the sharp points on their teeth filed down. I am so thankful for their help in keeping us our healthy.
