For those new to Harriet Tubman Tours and to me—I’m Alex Green, co-founder (alongside my lovely wife Lisa). We’ve spent years guiding people through the landscapes that shaped Harriet Tubman’s life. From the tidal marshes she used for survival to the landmarks where she fought for freedom, our tours connect history to the land itself.

Amazing story!!!

In 1849, to escape 33 years of his life as a slave, Henry "Box" Brown shipped himself in a cargo box from Richmond, Virginia, to the abolitionist zone in Philadelphia.

Henry Brown completed the 350-mile journey, barely breathing through the air holes he opened in his 60-centimeter-wide cargo box, and spent the remaining 50 years of his life as a free person

We are humbled and horned to have found a photo of HarrietTubman taken in 1898.This photo brings the beautiful and stunning present of her relevant life in today's world. One can only imagine what's out there to be discovered.

Another rare photograph of Harriet Tubman, the iconic abolitionist and Underground Railroad conductor, has been unearthed, marking the second such discovery in recent months.
