It's TIMMMMEEEE. Officially launching the kickoff to September 15, 2026 🎉

Since our launch in 2012 we've helped to register or update registration for over 6 million Americans, and we're just getting started.

This year's elections will give voters a chance to vote on:

👉 435 seats in the U.S. House of Representatives,

👉 33 U.S. Senate seats

👉 36 governorships

👉 More than 6,100 state legislative seats

👉 Thousands of local offices that influence policies affecting daily life in communities nationwide.

This Native American Heritage Month, we’re celebrating the strength and leadership of Native communities — and acknowledging the work still needed to ensure equal access to the vote.

Citizenship in 1924 didn’t guarantee voting rights. Some states didn’t remove barriers until 1948. And today, challenges like distant polling places, ID rules, and nontraditional addressing still impact Native voters.

Nonprofits and community groups can help close these gaps by sharing accurate voter information, partnering with Native-led organizations, and advocating for policies that support equitable access.

Honoring Native heritage means supporting Native voices in our democracy.
