Exploring Spain is always an adventure, but how would you choose to discover its beauty? 🚶‍♀️🚲

Tulip season in the Netherlands is beautiful but very spring-like. Think cool temperatures, clouds, occasional rain, and lots of lovely sunny days!

April: typically around 8–15°C (46–59°F) during the day, with chilly mornings.
Rain: showers are common, so waterproof layers are a good idea. Wind: it can feel noticeably colder around the open bulb fields.
Sunshine: when the sun comes out, it can feel pleasantly mild, especially in the afternoon.
🌷 Best balance: mid-April is usually a great bet for both tulips and comfortable sightseeing. Keukenhof’s 2026 reports showed it in full bloom around April 10–20.
Early May: still good for late tulips, but some fields may already have been cut.

What I’d pack: waterproof jacket, layers/sweater, comfortable waterproof shoes, and a compact umbrella. Don’t rely on a warm-weather outfit just because it’s “spring.”

🚴 Cycling Tour Packing List from us! + some tips ;)

* Pack light! You’ll thank yourself when navigating airports, trains, buses, and hotel stairs.

* Stay organized with Ziploc bags or packing cubes.

* Wash clothes as you go. A quick sink wash can help keep your luggage light. Roll wet clothes in a dry towel to remove excess water, then hang to dry.

* Be ready for changing weather. Bring warm gloves, a hat/helmet liner, and extra socks, especially in spring. Check the forecast.

* Layer up: moisture-wicking base layer, warm insulating layer, and a windproof/waterproof shell.

* Bring your favorite cycling accessories for comfort and confidence. Ask us before bringing your own pedals or bike seat.

* Wear padded bike shorts to keep your sit bones happy.

* Photograph your passport and email the photo to yourself in case it gets lost.
