🥾 Walk in the footsteps of history during the 5th Annual Abolition Road, October 10.⁠

The walk traces the route taken by 104 abolitionists who fled a violent mob in Utica in 1835, traveling toward Peterboro and the founding of the New York State Antislavery Society. In Peterboro, the National Abolition Hall of Fame and Museum continues to preserve and share this history.⁠
⁠
This walk supports NAHOF’s mission to honor antislavery abolitionists and freedom seekers and continue their work toward the abolition of racism.⁠

The Syracuse International Film Festival celebrates its 23rd anniversary October 1–3, bringing three days of independent films, filmmaker conversations, special programs, and more to the Catherine Cummings Theatre.⁠
