The Washington County Chamber of Commerce and Visit Washington County PA were honored to partner with the Canonsburg Educational & Cultural Institute for the Grand Opening of the Canon Theatre presented by Scarmazzi Homes. This new facility will enhance Downtown Canonsburg's and Washington County's cultural and entertainment offerings as well as add $13.8 million in economic activity in its first full year of operation.

This project could not have been realized without the vision of Paul Scarmazzi, Lisa Scarmazzi, and Anthony Colaizzo. Thank you for this new investment and tourism asset for Washington County.

According to West Alexander Scare Fair Director Rich Hunter, you don’t necessarily have to leave terrified to have a great time. After 14 seasons, Scare Fair has become a Washington County Halloween tradition built to get a reaction—whatever that reaction might be.

Trax Farms Market's Fall Festival is happening every weekend now through October 25th!

The festival at the 150-year-old farm is a tradition for many families in the South Hills and greater Pittsburgh area. Enjoy a hayride to our pumpkin patch to pick-your-own pumpkin or see if you can find your way through our giant, 3-acre corn maze. Pumpkins are not included in the ticket price.

Festival hours are 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
