My family is heading to Florida in just a few weeks and this trip is one for the books.
12 days. Disney parks. Universal Studios. Islands of Adventure. Epic Universe. A four night Disney Cruise on the Wish to Nassau and Castaway Cay. Port Orleans Riverside. Wilderness Lodge Club Level. The Boardwalk.

They get to head out June 10th. I am joining them June 12th because grad school does not care about vacation. But when I get there I am fully in.

I will be sharing everything live, the real moments, the honest reviews, the food, the hotels, and what it actually looks like to do a trip like this as a family.

A few years ago Disney named me Veteran of the Day at their park. It was one of those unexpected moments that stopped me in my tracks. As a US Navy veteran I have a deep personal commitment to making sure military families know what they are entitled to when it comes to travel.

Most people do not realize how many travel suppliers offer military appreciation rates. Cruise lines including Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, and Princess have dedicated military pricing for active duty, veterans and their families. Many all-inclusive resorts do as well. The challenge is that these rates are not always visible on a standard search and knowing how to find and combine them requires someone who knows where to look.

This is one of the areas I am most passionate about in my practice. Military families sacrifice enough. Finding every available discount on their behalf is the least I can do.

Norwegian Cruise Line is about to take their private island to a whole new level and honestly I am here for it.

Great Tides Waterpark is coming to Great Stirrup Cay and the details are incredible.

Cliffside Cove has racer slides and 10 and 15 foot cliff jumps, a cruise industry first. Tidal Tower stands 170 feet tall and packs eight waterslides including the tallest drops, mat racers, and body slides. Splash Harbor is a 9,000 square foot splash zone with a massive tipping bucket and eight mini slides. And the Wandering River is 800 feet long with a swim up bar and a glowing bioluminescent grotto tunnel.

This is not your average private island beach day.

Seven. That is how many Icon Class ships Royal Caribbean will have sailing by 2030.

Icon 6 and Icon 7 are now official and I have been following this line closely. The innovation Royal Caribbean keeps bringing to sea is unlike anything else out there right now.

I’m a little late posting this but yesterday was Global Travel Advisor Day and I spent it exactly where I should have been, surrounded by the most passionate, dedicated travel professionals I know.

EDGE 2026 wrapped last night with the Gala and I am leaving San Diego with new connections, new destinations, new inspiration, and an even deeper love for this industry.

The biggest takeaway from this week? This industry is so much bigger and more exciting than even I realized. Meeting adventure travel suppliers, discovering destinations and experiences I can’t wait to share with my clients, and connecting with the most incredible people reminded me of something important, travel is not just about where you go. It’s about having the right person in your corner to get you there. 💛
