Hiawatha Golf Club 9 hole golf course just east of Canton, SD. Hiawatha Golf Club is one of the premier courses in southeast South Dakota.

Established in 1948 by an ambitious Board of Director’s, our Club continues to grow and progress. Together, with our membership, the current Board of Director’s is committed to moving our club forward into the future. We are located on the East edge of Canton, SD and pride ourselves in our well managed course. Please visit the Hiawatha Golf Club for a relaxing round of golf.

Hiawatha Club Tournament 2026 is Sunday, September 13th. If you want to play in flights, sign up in the clubhouse or text Phil Andela 605-321-1568 by Monday, September 7th.
▪️If you played in qualifying, you are signed up to play flights, unless you tell Phil otherwise!
▪️Men's League steak night is Thursday, September 10th. MUST sign up if you plan to have a steak by this Thursday the 3rd!

Saturday, August 1st 9am American Legion Post will be having a tourney with 40+ people. Sunday, August 2nd 10am is the Youth/Adult Tourney. The course is NOT closed either day but expect slow play.

Due to last nights storm there will be no golf allowed until cleanup is completed. The clubhouse is open but we do not have internet so cash or check only for transactions and our phone is out of service as well.

Annual Billy Baroo Putting Contest!
