History, tradition, and summer celebrations take over Ogdensburg this weekend!

The Skirmish on the Oswegatchie brings Revolutionary War history to life at Fort de la Présentation, the site of the historic battle. Featuring battle demonstrations, period camps, historic displays, and stories of Fort Oswegatchie’s past, the reenactment highlights the important role our region played during a defining time in American history as part of ongoing America 250 celebrations.

The Ogdensburg International Seaway Festival kicks off this weekend, celebrating more than six decades of tradition as one of the nation’s longest-running international festivals.

For months, you’ve watched the transformation taking place at Gran View, and we’re thrilled to announce that our newly renovated restaurant will officially open to the public on Tuesday, July 28.

Leading this exciting new chapter are Chef Mark Hull, Chef Thuli Hull, Chef Brad Rookey, Chef Ian Bicknell and their culinary team, who have created an entirely new dining experience featuring a brand-new menu inspired by fresh ingredients, exceptional flavors, and thoughtful presentation.

This is more than a reopening, it’s a new beginning.

🎶 Potsdam Summer Fest 2026 transforms the entire village into one big celebration, with live music every hour, local shopping, food, family activities, and events happening throughout downtown. Saturday evening wraps up with The Strictly Hip on the Fall Island Main Stage, followed by fireworks.

🏴 The Hammond Scottish Festival showcases the traditions of Scotland through Highland Games, bagpipes, Celtic music, dance, artisan vendors, heritage demonstrations, and authentic Scottish fare.
