I sometimes joke that I am paid to be paranoid. That’s why we will always advise flying in the day before a cruise, purchasing travel insurance (or at least emergency medical), and allowing plenty of time for connections!

Until 1925, a married woman didn’t have her own passport; she was listed as “and wife” on her husband's passport. That meant in practice she could not travel without him.

Until the 1980s, women in Australia needed their husbands' permission to travel or to apply for a passport.

There are still 19 countries worldwide where you need a signature from your husband or father to apply for a passport in your own name if you are a woman.

You have more freedom than most women in history to travel and see the world. Use it.

Spirit has officially canceled all flights. We do not currently have any guests traveling with Spirit flights.
