Definitely this souvenir ice cream bowl from Edna À La Mode Sweets Shop! 🍨🏎️

For less than $13 this car included 3 scoops of ice cream, up to 5 toppings, whipped cream AND cherries!

And yes we got to keep the car - the main reason it’s Ollie’s favorite 😉

🍦✨ Ranking Disney Cruise Line Icecream Flavors Because Someone Has To Do It✨🍦

One thing I am missing about a Disney Cruise? You are NEVER too far away from ice cream.. and you can eat as many as you want.
Every. Single. Day.

Some people come home talking about the shows, the ports, or the pools… meanwhile I’m over here ranking soft serve flavors like it’s an Olympic sport. 🏅

So here’s my completely unofficial but absolutely correct Disney Cruise Line soft serve ranking🤪👇

🥇 Banana
Elite. Superior. Untouchable. I said what I said. If banana is available, I’m running to the pool deck immediately. So sad I only got one this trip.

🥈 Blueberry
This one surprised me SO much. It tastes like a summer vacation and somehow makes me feel healthy even though I’m eating my 4th cone of the day 😂

🥉 Mint Chocolate Swirl
SNEAKY GOOD 👏 But let me be clear… ONLY the swirl version. Mint by itself drops like 5 spots instantly. The chocolate saves it and together they’re iconic.

4️⃣ Chocolate
Reliable. Dependable. Never the star of the show, but always there when you need her 🤎

5️⃣ Mango
Very tropical. Very cruise coded. I want to rank it higher… but I just can’t fully commit.

6️⃣ Pineapple
I had SUCH high hopes for this one and it absolutely let me down 😭 It sounds like it should taste amazing and then somehow just… doesn’t.

7️⃣ Strawberry
Listen… I know some of y’all are going to come for me on this one 😂 I’m just not a strawberry ice cream girlie. Never have been.

8️⃣ Vanilla
If vanilla is your favorite flavor… respectfully… you are wrong 🤍😂

Now tell me…
Are you loyal to one flavor the entire cruise OR are you trying every swirl combo possible? 👀🍦

“Why do you keep going back?”

If I had a dollar for every time I was asked that question, it would probably pay for my next Disney cruise.

But what people don’t understand is every trip to Disney has been different. I heard a saying “you never take the same child to Disney twice” and boy did that hit all the feels this trip. I would have never guessed how different Ollie would be this trip versus the trip in the fall. And while part of it broke me, it also excited me for our next trip.

One day we might not focus on Disney so much. But for now I will cherish every single magical moment at our favorite place.

There’s certain moments in vacation that just feel.. heartbreaking. 💔

This past trip we stayed at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. A personal favorite not only because of the location and access to the skyliner, but for the pool. Stormalong Bay is one of the BEST pools.

While we were hanging out in the pool area I saw a father loaded down with bags, and a mom trying to manage three small children. They had their bags packed and hiked over from somewhere else and planned on spending the day at Stormalong Bay. However, they were turned away. You see Stormalong Bay is reserved only for guests at Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. All the time, effort and excitement to result in complete devastation. You see the mom shared she saw on a social media page that “pool hopping” over there was allowed.

As a Travel Advisor this stick with me. There is SO much information out there. However, it’s not all true. And when it comes to a Disney vacation those little details really do matter and make the difference.

If you are planning a trip, make sure you’re getting guidance you can trust. Because your time, money and memories are WAY too important to just leave to chance. ✨
