Trip Dates: 6-9 September
Costs per person doing training:
$318 (Dives) + $250 (AOW Class Cost) - $90 (Credit from ODR) + $125 (lodging) = $648
Cost per person not doing training:
$318 (Dives) + $125 (lodging) = $488
We will have to be at Scuba Do dive charter by 1200. It is about a 4-5 hour drive so we will plan to leave around 0700 in the morning on the 6th.
..Dives:
THU PM Winch Hole + Fire Coral Cave on Molasses Reef (UW Navigation + fun dive)
THU Nite Winch Hole (Night dive)
FRI AM Spiegel + Benwood (Deep + Wreck dives)
FRI Nite Benwood (fun dive)
SAT AM Duane + Deep Molasses Drift (fun dive + Drift dive)
Extra dives per day can be booked for $75 plus Tax.
For anyone not doing training, the dives will still be conducted at the same dive sites as the training dives. You also must already be advanced open water certified to do the deep dives.
Lodging:
Lodging will be a shared house. The house is a 4 bedroom 2 bath with an outdoor shower. The cost of lodging will be split among all people that are staying. The total cost of lodging will be 1125 split among all the people staying. Each bedroom will sleep 2.
Deposit:
A deposit of $300 will need to be paid at the time of booking.
Equipment Requirements:
You will have to provide your own bcd, reg, fins, mask, and snorkel for the trip. Those can be rented from a local dive shop or arrangements can be made with SCUBA-DO dive charters. This will be on your own. Those participating in the advanced open water class will have to pick up gear from Outdoor Rec on the 3rd of August.
Tanks:
Air tanks will be provided in the cost of the boat. If nitrox is requested, (only recommended for the deep dives) you will have to pay $12 per tank.
Extra personal gear required:
Night dives require a primary and a backup light along with a marker light.
Safety sausages are required along with a reel or at least 15 ft of line. It is highly recommended to get brass or stainless steel clips also.
For people doing the advanced open water class:
We will meet up the evening of the 3rd of September to go over knowledge reviews. The knowledge reviews that need to be completed are: Navigation, Wreck, Deep, Night, Drift, and Boat. $90 dollars will be credited towards your boat dives.
