UPDATE: The center of the hurricane is as close to Southwest Florida as it will ever be...160 miles off the coast. As promised, this did not pull a Hurricane Ian for us and the worst of it stayed offshore as it continues to head towards the Florida Big Bend. Thank you for your trust when I made that assurance.

With that said, this is a large storm and storm surge will be an issue this evening and overnight. *Please please don't get caught off guard.* I'm expecting coastal flooding to be higher in Southwest Florida than what we had with Hurricane Debby in August.
