We’ve teamed up with the Superhero Project again as the Official Charity Sponsor, in addition to being sponsor of the Kid’s Philadelphia Triathlon at Women’s Philadelphia Triathlon AND WE CAN NOT WAIT!

This fun, safe, and confidence boosting event is designed for all kids whether your child is a seasoned competitor or trying their first triathlon! It’s all about fun, fitness, and finishing strong.

NEW IN 2025! 🏆

We’re proud to announce an updated format for Club Competition beginning in 2025. These changes are designed to elevate the team experience and ensure fair, exciting competition among clubs across our triathlon events. In addition- the competition will be able to be followed real-time in our live tracking app with live team results!

Club Registration:

When registering, be sure to select your club affiliation. To confirm or update your registration, follow these steps:

1. Log in to RunSignUp.com.

2. Navigate to your “Profile” page.

3. Under Upcoming Events, locate your race and click “Manage Registration.”

4. Use the left-hand menu to modify your club/team affiliation by modifying your registration question answers

Please Note: If your club is not listed on your registration by race day, you will not be included in team scoring. Athletes may only represent one club per event.

Competition Divisions

There will be two competition divisions in the DelMoCup:

· Sprint Tri Club Division

· Olympic Tri Club Division

All DelMo tri events will feature both divisions except the Women’s Philadelphia Tri, which will include only a Sprint Tri Club Division.

Each division will crown its own club champion based on team performance.

Scoring Criteria

Team scoring will be based on the combined finish times of the top five athletes from each club in a given division. Scoring rules include:

· Only finishers in the Sprint or Olympic Tri distances will be counted.

· Aquabike, duathlon, and other non-tri formats are not included in the DelMoCup scoring.

· A club must have a minimum of five finishers in a given distance to be eligible for scoring.

· The top five scoring members must include: 2 males / 2 females / 1 additional athlete of any gender

· If a club does not meet these composition requirements, it will be marked as incomplete and will not be eligible for scoring in that distance.

Two DelMo Cups will be awarded at each event, one for the top Spring Tri Club & Olympic Tri Club. If a club wins both divisions at the same event, they will be awarded both cups. Winners receive not only the cup but bragging rights until the next DelMo event!

Well, HELLO MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!

Can you believe it? As I write, we are 140 days into 2025 and NOTHING is what I thought it would be...it’s been BETTER.

How I can say that writing to you from a wheelchair with a busted knee with the inability to physically do all the things I love to do? It’s pretty simple. I take a look at what I have and I am truly grateful. This is not some mumbo jumbo of someone using gratitude as clickbait, no, I mean I am REALLY grateful because I’ve lived long enough now to know there are no guarantees of ANYTHING, and each day is a gift.

However, if my injury has taught me anything, it’s taught me that NOW is the time for even MORE change in DelMoLand. You see, when you commit to your craft, and you are willing to take the leap into your future self every now and then the Gods send you gifts for your courage. My gift occurred in the finish chute of Cherry Blossom last month when my knee popped. It was that moment the Gods reached out and said, “it’s time.”

The time has come for me to stop DOING THE WORK, at least physically. If my injury has taught me anything it’s that my crew doesn’t need me. For 20 years I took pride in always working side-by-side with my team running the gauntlet at events and doing everything together. My hands were always equally callused, and clothes just as dirty. However, a wise man once said to me, “If you want to realize your potential, you have to get out of the back of the truck.” And, that’s exactly what I’ve been doing and what I will continue to do.

My superpower is creating opportunities for my crew to do what they love and foreseeing the good, bad, and the ugly while they do the work. It doesn’t do us any good if my head is down grinding it out, and NO ONE is paying attention to the wind and tide of the business.

So far, I have piloted 4 events in this role and those events went better than I ever expected. Yes, it has been an adjustment to get things done a certain way leading into the event but this is where the growth takes place.

Where can you level up and change the game in your life? It’s time to get in the front seat and point the direction you want to go.
