Today we introduced Innkeeper Eric Taubert's latest breakfast-starter creation that we'll be serving at Candleberry Inn on Cape Cod on Saturday mornings in June: Fresh Blueberry Breakfast Tart Squares.

They taste just like summer :-)

New England Innkeeper Charlene Taubert has been busy in the Candleberry Inn on Cape Cod kitchen cooking up this batch of Millionaire's Shortbread as an afternoon treat for our guests!

Sometimes we call them our homemade Twix bars.

Charlene's scratch-baked version is a fond look back at a circa-1972 Scottish version of this storied recipe (Chocolate Caramel Crunch) -- using a few modern-day baking tricks :-)
