Today I found out that we have been approved by the IRS as "Tax Exempt". According to the NM Taxation and Revenue website any organization that is Non-Profit and has an exempt status with the IRS is considered tax exempt also. I will also change our receipt letters to show that status.

I don't want any confrontation on this post. But if you want to I'll go head-to-head with you. So here goes ,Just getting my feelings out. If you don't agree just pass this by........ I'm going to vent here...I believe we all have the right to worship as we please, but I also know that our country, the United States of America was founded on Christian principles.
I believe we should be proud of our country. A quote is a quote. It should not be amended or watered down. The news should not be afraid to use someone’s quote that refers to God.
On the "Today Show", one of the wives of one of the Navy Seals killed along with the US ambassador in Libya was being interviewed. He asked her what she would say to her children about their dad and how she would want them to remember him. Her answer, and I quote, "His love for Christ", and then continued on with a few other things.
Throughout the day and on the MSN homepage, replaying the story, they have edited the "Love of Christ" part out. Why? Because using the word Christ might offend someone!
Well now, it's my turn to be offended.
I'm offended that they would edit it out.
Offended that Christians are asked to tread lightly so as not to offend someone of another religion. This man loved his country and loved God and gave his life for both.
This Founding Principle is actually embedded in our Declaration of Independence: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
I hope every Christian or every person that believes in God who is offended will copy this and paste it to their status....

*Before you say it, I already know that a lot of you don't know how to copy & paste.* it's easy... hold your finger on this post when the word copy appears just touch it then go to your home page and where it says "what's on your mind" touch it and hold your finger where you would start writing your comment and "paste” If you read to the end, can I get an "Amen!"

Stacks of firewood in cemetery is FREE to the public. Just come with you pickup or trailer and get it.

We now have more firewood, as we had to drop another dead pine tree. Located on upper road at first crossing.

Thanks to Bill Hightower we have identified who is buried between Mrs. M.H. Gossett and William Van Pelt. It's the daughter of Mrs. M.H. Gossett and the wife of William Van Pelt. We are still trying to find who is buried on the north side of Tommy Oliver Snell.

This is an open question to all followers.
I'm trying to determine whose cremation remains are buried between Leroy Copeland who died int 1975 and Dosca Copeland who died in 1989. Also the cremation remains between Charlie Purcella who died in 1982 and Louise Florence Purcella who died in 2003. I'm trying to identify particular UNKNOWN graves as we currently have 56,

Once again we have FREE firewood available in the cemetery. It is located just south uphill from the turn in the upper road.

Question for followers and others - Does anyone know who would be buried next to Tommie Oliver Snell on the north side currently being listed as UNKNOWN. Also who might be buried between Mrs. M.H. Gossett and William B. Van Pelt which is also listed as UNKNOWN. These two graves were spotted today. If this type of question is good. I will list other UNKNOWN graves for information who might be buried in that spot.

While checking on two unknown graves on the 1951 map I found 4 more unknown graves. This now makes 49 unknown graves in the Angus Cemetery.
