Meet the official poster for the 43rd Annual Capitola Art & Wine Festival: Birdfolk on Capitola Beach by Jacqué Price. Whimsical, colorful, and delightfully unexpected, this playful scene captures so much of what we love about Capitola, its charm, vibrant spirit, and sense of fun.

The moment we saw it, we knew it was something special. From the joyful characters to the lively beach setting, “Birdfolk on Capitola Beach” invites us into a world that feels both magical and unmistakably Capitola.

Artist Jacqué Price describes her paintings as “inner landscapes,” created through intuition, feeling, and curiosity. Her work emerges through layers of spontaneous mark-making and reflection, revealing stories and connections that often surprise even the artist herself.

We’re thrilled to share this year’s poster and can’t wait to celebrate another unforgettable festival together!

Posters are available directly through the artist, at the Capitola-Soquel Chamber office in the Capitola Mall, and at Jacque’s booth during the Capitola Art & Wine Festival on September 12 & 13, 2026.

Join us for a Candidate Information Night on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 5:30 PM to learn more about running for local office in Santa Cruz County. This informational session will be hosted by the Santa Cruz County Clerk and the Capitola City Clerk and will cover the candidate filing process, election requirements, and what to expect as a candidate.
Anyone interested in learning more about running for office is encouraged to attend.
