A large sun deck (right) spans the upper level. Below it is a shaded screened lanai with new furniture, including a teak dining table for outdoor dining night or day (left). Sunset Captiva #51 is one of the most private of all Sunset Captiva homes, thanks to a great location and professional landscaping. There is even ground-level decking with outdoor shower. Days are getting longer as we get closer to Spring Break season. Enjoy long days and lower rates for summer bookings that will begin filling up as Spring progresses. While work is still underway to get the islands fully back, Sunset Captiva is looking great with new docks and pickleball courts to be completed this Spring. Come enjoy quiet beaches, warm weather and many new re-opened businesses. We’re back! You should be too!

Things are getting cleaned up and opened up on Captiva! All hurricane repairs to Sunset 51 are finished! Captiva has the Mucky Duck, Captiva House, Boops and Starbucks open with Pizza annd the Mexican Food Truck as take-away food options! The water is clear with beautiful color! Sunset 51 has openings this summer for beach vacations with the Sunset Captiva Pool, Tennis and Pickleball courts are ready to be enjoyed by guests. Plan your beach vacation with good availability!

Sunset Captiva 51 survived Ian with only some repairable roof damage! And a few other repairs that are easily resolved (when materials or help are available). Thanks to all who reached out with concern. Not sure when the Sanibel Causeway will be open to the general public and the islands open for rentals. Each day things get better, but ”normal” is a ways out. Pray for many who lost their homes and where each day is a challenge!
