Dogs love it here at Tulipwood Cabins! This is Barley enjoying all of the fresh spring smells in the forest last May, 2025. Our four cabins here at Tulipwood sit on 35 wooded acres within the Shawnee National Forest. If you love Southern Illinois in the spring, we still have some availability in April and May for your getaway, but spring bookings are filling up. 🌱🌳🌲🥾🦌🪨🍷🌱🌼🐾 Come visit soon! We have January openings for Shagbark Cabin! 🌲🪾✨🪵🌲🪾✨🪵 Weekends are booked in January, but Shagbark, our largest cabin with a loft, still has openings during the week this month! Next week, Monday through Friday, the 19th-23rd is open. We also have the following week, Monday through Friday, the 26th- 30th open. Come for all four days, or just a couple. Winter getaways to the Shawnee National Forest are so cozy and relaxing! Shagbark Cabin hosts five guests, has one king bedroom, a loft with two twin XL beds, a queen sleeper sofa, and one lovely bathroom. Happy Thanksgiving from Tulipwood! Next month marks our two year anniversary! We've hosted guests from all over the country here in our little corner of the Shawnee National Forest in beautiful Southern Illinois.
