One of the perks of being a travel advisor is getting calls from clients who know that “booking it yourself” and “getting the best value” aren’t always the same thing.

Recently, some longtime clients were looking at a National Parks tour and called me before booking online. They told me they’d rather support a local small business and friend , than send more money to a giant corporation. (I have a feeling the corporation will be just fine without us. 😉)
