Starting this Saturday we will be having a barn sale at Green Diamonds Farm. Address 4905 County Road 134 Cardington, Ohio. Open from 11 A.M. to 3 P.M. We are going to try and be open all summer. New stuff weekly. Saturdays only.

This is what I do when no one is home. I lmagine an Easter dinner with all my friends. Really I'm checking out my collection of china. The other day I picked up 8 salad plates to add to my pink rose dishes. They are all different patterns but they match beautifully. This spring starting in March we are going to offer parties for showers, rehersal dinners, birthdays and what ever else you want to celebrate. Also we are going to have classes for button bracelet making, painting on vintage slate, string art and many more. Prices will be $30 per class and will include tea and scones. Tell all your friends. Working on a tile project for Pemberley Cottage's fireplace surround. I wanted Delft tile to cover all the way around. When I started to check the prices I nearly fainted. One single tile could go up to $300.00. Then my you tube searches started. Did you know you can transfer images to tile with some transfer medium and some tile. So I went to the library and Mark helped me get some images from google and I printed 6 per page of my favorite ones. Tomorrow I will tackle the tile transfer, because finding tile in a dark barn is not my thing. The back story is that Drew's childhood home is The Beverly Mansion in Sparta, and the dining room fireplace has original Delft tile around it. So to honor him I wanted to do my own version here at Pemberley. By the way I added up the value of the tile at The Beverly Mansion to be $37,000 if each tile was $300.00. Lets just keep that between you and me.

Fixing and easy lunch today. Somewhere under all that is a whole chicken. Quite literally five minutes prep. Mushrooms, carrots, parsley, celery, onions and garlic will accompany it. Roaster pan in the oven for an hour and a half.
