Mark your calendars: Deaf Heritage Day returns to Conner Prairie on September 26!
The "Amplifying Voices" program spotlights two members of the Deaf community who helped shape American history, with deeper looks at Deaf culture, ASL, and the history of the Indiana School of the Deaf. ASL interpreters from BeHeard Communications will be on the grounds all day. Free with general admission.

September is National Deaf Awareness Month, and Hamilton County has plenty more to explore, from ASL interpreters and assistive listening devices to video relay services at spots like the Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts, Kiln Creations, and Fishers Event Center.
