Hillyard Farm Services and Hillyard Sales & Service are family owned, full service businesses that began in 1999. Owner, Mark Hillyard, has extensive experience in the repair field. He was employed for 24 years with the local Agco, Ford, New Holland and John Deere dealerships. Mark recognized a need in the community for service of equipment. He began by providing service for all types of farm equi

pment and has now established quality dealership relationships with Briggs and Stratton, Cub Cadet, Echo, Exmark, Kawasaki, Turf Star, Scag, Stihl, Mahindra, and Toro. Our company has grown from two employees to sixteen. Each employee strives to provide great customer service and looks forward to meeting your diesel engine and lawn mower needs, We service all types of equipment ranging from chain saws, blowers, weed eaters, lawnmowers, to semi-trucks and all types of farm equipment. Hi everyone! It is time we make a bittersweet announcement. Mark is going into semi-retirement. It is time for him to focus on what he loves to do most; heavy equipment repair. That statement is hard to believe, I know, but what that really means is he will *hopefully* be working 40-50 hours a week vs the 60-70 hours he works now.

With that said, we will be closing our Hillyard Sales and Service business that sells lawn equipment. Hillyard Farm Services WILL REMAIN OPEN AND OPERATING! He and other mechanics will still be in the field and at the shop working on farm equipment, compact tractors, semis, side by sides, annual DOT inspections, and anything farm related. Some of you have been with us for years, don’t worry! If you have previously purchased a mower from Hillyard Sales and Service, Hillyard Farm Services will be happy to continue to service, repair, and provide any needed parts.

This is a decision we did not take lightly. We have been in the lawn and garden industry since 2008 and we deeply appreciate our customer’s support. We plan to offer our winter service special on lawn equipment until December 30, 2025. We would be happy to service your mower and have it ready for Spring! The office will officially be closing to foot traffic December 30, 2025.

Kristie (Mark’s daughter) will be in the office certain days a week for Hillyard Farm Services. The phone will ring over to schedule any appointments for repair. Our business hours will remain the same. Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.

Please don’t hesitate to call with any questions or concerns. We have always been big on customer service and that is not wavering. If you need anything, reach out! We will do our best to assist or guide you in the right direction. We value you. We are still here to serve, just in a different way!
