Here is your home just steps from the Atlantic ocean and only 20 minutes from Wilmington, NC! We're leasing out individual bedrooms/suites within our single family home starting August 1, 2025. We will be changing from short term to longer term rental starting August 1, 2025. We can offer month to month options (for slightly higher rates than listed below), or up to 3 or 6 month leases at a time (at slightly higher fees than listed below), though we prefer a 6 month lease to start with.

This is a RARE single-family rental on the island of Carolina Beach. It's a 4 Bedroom, 3.5 bath house with a 5 minute walk to the ocean, right on Ocean Blvd. It could be ideal for a travel nurse, a local college student (MUST BE RESPONSIBLE -- SO MAYBE A GRAD STUDENT), a young person just completing college, who has a job. My 24 year old senior in college is moving back from Utah and will be moving in to the upstairs Master suite. He needs 3 Housemates! There are 2 smaller single-Queen guest bedrooms upstairs which share a Jack and Jill bathroom with shared full shower and bath, separate sinks and shared toilet with privacy door that locks. There is also a large downstairs Master Bedroom that is available. This room actually has 2 Queen beds, and a large closet and en suite bathroom that is only a shower, but we are only wanting 1 person to rent the space. It is a very private space and only requires 1 set of stairs, as the kitchen is on the same floor as this suite.

All rooms including shared public space (downstairs shower, kitchen, living room, laundry room, screened porch, front and back porches) are furnished and decorated in beachy themes. All kitchenware provided and twice a month we even send a cleaning crew in to get the place s**c and span (included in rent)!!

This is truly a "show up with your suitcase and maybe a laptop computer and move in" situation. Rent will be all-inclusive, as long as the utilities bills remain reasonable. You would be welcome to bring some of your own furniture if you'd rather not use ours.

Fees (this is for a 6 month lease):
Two large bedrooms that share jack and Jill bathroom: $1,100 each, per month, not including security deposit (this price is for a 6 month lease. Shorter term leases are a little more per month).

Downstairs Master Double Queen with en suite bathroom and shower: $1,250 per month, not including security deposit (this price is for a 6 month lease. Shorter term leases are a little more per month). These prices are ALL INCLUSIVE OF EVERYTHING, FROM RENT TO UTILITIES TO INTERNET, AND EVEN A CLEANING CREW TWICE A MONTH!

We have a fenced in backyard with lots of grass, a big gas grill and a giant generator in case the power goes out.

This house is very special to us. We lived here for the last 2.5 years, and living in Carolina Beach, aka Pleasure Island, is truly a privilege. We loved walking down to the water each day and watching the early bird surfers, getting up all winter long! Our son even donned a wetsuit and tried it out for himself several times! This house would be perfect for someone who loves to surf. Or just laid back people who wanna be by the sea and are good with living with a 24 year old senior in college (studying computer science and artificial intelligence engineering) at Indiana University...

The Town of Carolina Beach’s Parks & Recreation are proud to announce the return of Fireworks and Music on the Boardwalk for the Summer of 2025. Listed below is the line-up for the popular BOARDWALK BLAST Fireworks and Music Series. Again, our Season will run from Memorial Day (May 23rd) to Labor Day (August 29th ) for a total of 15 great weeks of entertainment for all. Music will be performed at the Gazebo Stage from 6:30 – 9:30 pm with the fireworks beginning promptly at 9:00 pm.
