The Town of Carolina Beach Parks & Recreation Department are very excited to announce THE Memorial Day Week’s full agenda of SUMMER activities to enhance your week at the Beach!

FAMILY NIGHT
Beginning in four weeks on Tuesday, June 17th, Family Night will be running every Tuesday typically from 6:00 – 8:00 pm (verify times) at the Carolina Beach Lake Area, Family-friendly activities are presented FREE for kids of all ages including interactive performers, games, face-painting, etc.
Wednesday, May 21st
Boardwalk FLAMINGO BINGO
Join us each Wednesday evening in front of the stage at the Carolina Beach Boardwalk this summer and play Island Women Flamingo Bingo! This a fun way to spend time with friends and family of all ages, and be a part of donating $500 each week to a local nonprofit organization. Cost to play is $15 per person (cash only), which includes 16 games and 16 chances to win cash prizes. We will have daubers and tape available for purchase.
Sales begin at 6:30pm, and the first ball is drawn at 7pm sharp. The season runs for 15 weeks until August 27th . Bring snacks or grab some great goodies from our boardwalk local businesses.

Fireworks begin promptly at 9:00 pm
If its summertime, its Fireworks time at the Beach! Carolina Beach is widely known for weekly fireworks and once again, the Town of Carolina Beach is proud to bring you a first-class display of the latest and greatest pyrotechnics available today. We have contracted with the leader in Pyrotechnic Displays - the widely acclaimed Zambelli International known throughout the World for their quality presentations.

CAROLINA BEACH MARKET
Carolina Beach Lake Park (400 South Lake Park Blvd.)
8:00 am – 1:00 pm
Pick from locally produced fruits and vegetables, plants, baked goods, dairy products, meats, wines and more at the Carolina Beach Market. Each market will also feature local artisans and crafters as well as live entertainment from local musicians. Located on the shores of the Carolina Beach Lake Park, the Market is open Saturdays, 8:00am – 1:00pm. Carolina Beach Market supports grow local, buy local, play local!

SUMMER FAMILY MOVIES AT THE LAKE
This week’s Family Movie is the 2024 Disney’s Animated Feature – MOANA 2
Storyline
“Moana 2” reunites Moana and Maui three years later for an expansive new voyage alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers. After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced.
Once again, we will be presenting the latest Family-friendly movies on the Giant inflatable screen as the sun sets in the west. Bring your chairs and blankets and your appetite – Movie concessions will be available on site for purchase.
Please remember to thank your Carolina Beach Town Staff as well as the many volunteers and sponsors that make these FREE Activities possible. Come early to all events and plan on supporting the local businesses while in Town. Please remember to be kind to your neighbor, practice social-distancing and deposit your litter and recyclables in their proper containers. All activities are weather permitting.
