Carolina Beach Music Festival starts THIS Friday with the 80’s Boardwalk Bash (free event) from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., complete with 80’s music and vibes 🕺

Then, Saturday (6/6), the main festival will begin. There’s still time to purchase an advance ticket for $5 off the door price.

The main gate located at the north end of the Boardwalk next to the Hampton Inn will open at 10 a.m. There will be 3 bands playing until 4:30 p.m., and they are 👇

Bring a chair and blanket so you can listen to classic beach tunes alongside the gorgeous views of the Atlantic all afternoon.

Experience 40 years of music in Carolina Beach 🎸 🌊

Carolina Beach Music Festival, hosted by Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce at the Carolina Beach Boardwalk is June 5-6.

Kicking off on Friday night with the 80’s Boardwalk Bash from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., come enjoy live 80’s-themed music for FREE.

On Saturday, gates open at 10 a.m. where you’ll be able to watch and listen to 3 bands: Band Of Oz, The Tams, and Jim Quick & Coastline. Music begins at 11 a.m: and will go until 4:30 p.m. Eat, drink, and listen all day long. Grab some lunch or drinks at Sunny Daze Smokehouse, Hurricane Alley's CB, or Buzz's Crab Shack. Then, head out to the sand with a chair and blanket to listen to iconic beachy tunes all afternoon 🏖️

Carolina Beach State Park has some of the best sunset views near Wilmington. To see this one, park at the lot next to the marina and head to the bank of the river where you can explore the driftwood upon the beach, get your toes in the sand, and listen to the water lap the shore.

🎨 Come see these masterpieces come together in Carolina Beach. Muralfest at Carolina Beach Lake Park is in full swing today until 4 p.m. and tomorrow (May 17) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Watch as 46 artists paint LIVE, explore artisan vendors, get some grub at a food truck, and snag a sweet treat to cool off from the truck. All the art will be on display at the park through the summer before an auction in September.

Flowers are great and all, but did you know that Venus flytraps and pitcher plants will be blooming in just one month? Venus flytraps are native only within 70 miles of Wilmington, NC. 🪰

Walk along Flytrap Trail at the Carolina Beach State Park where you can wander through the pocosin wetlands, long leaf pine forests, and lush savanna. This delicate, diverse ecosystem is unlike any other in the world and worth the visit 🥾
