Hello Avo Friends! 🥑💚

We’re counting down the days to the 39th Annual California Avocado Festival, happening October 3–5 in beautiful downtown Carpinteria! 🌞🎶

It’s going to be a fun-filled weekend celebrating peace, love, and all things avocado — but heads up! Another large event has been scheduled nearby on Saturday, October 4th at the Polo Fields, which means local accommodations and campsites are filling up fast.

✨ If you’re coming from out of town, we highly recommend booking your stay now to make sure you don’t miss a single minute of the guac-filled fun!

We can’t wait to welcome you for a safe, family-friendly weekend of music, food, and celebration.

HOW DO YOU EAT AN AVO?

Carpinteria organic avocado growers Will and Billy Carleton have an apple-doesn't-fall-far-from-the-tree approach to eating avocados.

It's straight from the shell for these two. Will adds salt and olive oil, while Billy prefers mayo to oil.

The trick, Will says, is to dice the avo in the shell before applying condiments: 5 cuts length-wise, and 8-10 across. This allows the toppings to mix well with the fruit.
