I'm overdue for a trip and started researching packages today. As always, I start with the "discount" sites to see what price I'm trying to beat. What I found on a popular online site actually costs $600 more than the suppliers I use for my clients as well as my personal travel. I rolled my eyes even more when I realized their price didn't even include in-destination transportation between the airport and resort OR travel protection. Easily another $200-$300 per person.
Moral of the Story: Find a travel agent who cares about your price as much as they do theirs.
