A reminder: Locks 1-4 will be open throughout the entire holiday weekend. Enjoy the full span of pools 1-4 Friday through Monday.

With the heat advisory we currently have, the Lockmasters have been advised to keep cool as often as they can. If you approach the Lock while they’re taking a break, please be patient. These lock walls are hot!

The barge will be approaching Lock 4 around noon today, there may be delays if you’re trying to lock through during that time.

It takes a lot to man a booth for about twelve hours a day for 10 days! We appreciate them being so dependable and giving their time to promote our wonderful community!
