After failing to understand how this was out of warranty after 12 months we did a little DIY today! Anyone that has a leaking back glass on their JT here is what you need! Some 7mm silicone tubing, a lubricant (glass cleaner works great), and a plastic trim tool for the tight spots.
After installing this tubing to seal up the gap between the top and the glass I can see why it was leaking. The glass isn’t 100% centered on the top. Creating a uneven gap all the way around. Which made it interesting to get the tubing seated especially on the bottom passenger side. Eventually after 30 minutes of messing with it we just cut it. 🤷♂️
Here’s to “Hopefully” having dry carpets again!
