Wow!

It smiles. 🦁🪨 The Lion of Kea lies on a slope above Ioulida, cut from a single outcrop in the 6th century BC. Legend says lions drove away the nymphs who made the island fertile. ⏳📜

It is 15 minutes' walk from the town and there is no ticket office. 🚶✨

Murals are awesome!

The bottom photo is what Odeith started with: a bare concrete dome. One day later it was the shell of a giant beetle.

He called it "Touching Earth" and let the legs and antennae run off the dome onto the walls around it, so the curve of the concrete does the 3D work for him.
